Huts – Fylde Mountaineering Club

The FMC owns and maintains 2 properties within the Lake District National Park. Both have bunk bed style accommodation, toilet and showering facilities, large drying rooms and fully fitted and equipped kitchens with dining areas.

Please bring your own sleeping bags and your own pillowcases.

Pillowcases must always be used on the hygienic, non-fabric pillows provided,

Both huts are available for weekend and weekday bookings by private parties and individuals. Outside bookings are accepted only on the basis of hiring the whole hut (i.e. total capacity) and not on a per person basis.

2019 : Weekend rate (Fri & Sat night) – £214.00 per weekend
2019 : Mid-week rate – £82.00 per night

2020 : Weekend rate (Fri & Sat night) – £225.00 per weekend
2020 : Mid-week rate – £86.00 per night

Car parking is limited to about 6 cars at the Little Langdale carpark. Please respect our neighbours access rights and parking areas. If more car parking spaces are needed, room is available over the ford. Do not attempt to cross the ford by normal car! Driving directions from the cottage to the other side are provided below.
