The club committee is elected annually at the AGM, usually held in February. All full members are eligible to stand for election for any role on the committee. In addition to the named officers of the committee, we have 4 general committee members who attend meetings and may get involved with any specific projects.
We would encourage all members to consider joining the committee. It is a great way to get to know other members and get involved in shaping the club for the future.
Chair – Tony Hulme
Tony was elected Chair in 2023, after serving on the committee for many years as Vice-Chair & Social Secretary. He loves his Sport & Trad climbing, and Mountain & Gravel Biking.

Vice Chair – Dave Hicks
Dave is currently our Vice Chair, supporting the Chairman as needed. He was club chairman from 200?-2022 and Hut Booking Secretary before that.
Secretary – Stephen Clark
Steve has been a member for around 10 years and initially joined the committee to help with the club website and facebook groups. Since 2022 he has been the club Secretary, responsible for the administration of the club. He is an active trad climber and spends a lot of time organising the club’s caving meets.
Steve lives in Caton, near Lancaster and has two teenage children who both hate going outside.
