As a club, we encourage members to continually develop their skills and competence. Our members have a wealth of experience across the various aspects of mountaineering, and other associated outdoor activities.
Whilst we have many competent climbers who are capable of introducing inexperienced new members to the basics of rock climbing allowing them to follow a leader on a route, we do not offer formal training courses in mountaineering or rock climbing skills. We would encourage any members wishing to progress their skills to a high level to consider an external course with Plas-y-Brenin or similar.
