IMPORTANT MESSAGE from Dave Hicks (Chariman)
Following the latest guidance from the Government we believe it is now necessary to formally close the huts to the membership and to outside bookings for the next 12 weeks.
All club weekend meets, evening climbing, evening walking and social meets are cancelled until further notice.
It is a constantly changing situation and we will continually review our position in line with latest Government advice. The Lake District tourist authority are also asking people to stay away to reduce the risk of spreading the virus to Cumbria from other regions of the UK.It is important that we all play our part in trying to prevent the spread of this virus and I thank you all in advance for supporting the club in our efforts to do the right thing. On behalf of the Committee I hope you all stay in good health throughout this challenging time.
